Food, Fisheries and Livestock, and Agriculture Minister Mohammad Amin Ur Rashid on Sunday said the government is committed to building a better Bangladesh for future generations, stressing that ensuring food security remains central to the country’s long-term development. The minister said Bangladesh currently has adequate food stocks and the government’s next target is to achieve full food self-sufficiency and eventually export food products abroad. State Minister Sultan Salahuddin Tuku, MP, and Food Secretary Md Firoz Sarkar, among other senior officials, were present at the meeting. He emphasized the need for teamwork and collective efforts to achieve the government’s goal of building a better Bangladesh for future generations. Food Secretary Firoz Sarkar said officials and staff of the ministry would continue to work with sincerity to implement government initiatives effectively.
