Foggy start for Christchurch and Hamilton, most places expected to stay dry through weekendONE News Images taken from a MetService weather camera show the fog slowly starting to roll away as the area heats up. Dry weather is expected to continue for most places through the weekend, as a ridge of high pressure remains over much of the country until Sunday. Auckland and Hamilton are headed for 15 degrees Celsius with any morning fog or cloud clearing, while a sunny 15C is forecast for Tauranga. New Plymouth could have some morning cloud with a 14C high, with similar conditions and a 15C high in Palmerston North. Things could then deteriorate with cloud and showers forecast for Friday and showers on Saturday.
