Flyover of Second World War planes to highlight Remembrance Day ceremonies in Niagara

A B25 Mitchell Bomber and D-Day veteran C47 Dakota from the Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum in Hamilton will fly over Remembrance Day ceremonies across Niagara, weather permitting, on Nov. 11. In Welland, a ceremony will honour those people who died, as well as those who served in the First and Second World Wars, the Korean War, Afghanistan and United Nations peacekeeping missions around the world. It starts at 10:45 a.m. at Welland-Crowland War Memorial, created by Canadian Elizabeth Wyn Wood and unveiled in 1939, in Chippawa Park. In Port Colborne, two Remembrance Day ceremonies will be held. The first is at the cenotaph at H.H.
