This could be achieved, they said, by adjusting the slope of the bridge to allow drivers access to the market. The Kok I-doei community is no stranger to hardship inflicted by state authorities. Returning to the bridge project, the community has made clear it does not want the structure scrapped entirely, but tweaked so the market can continue to thrive and sustain their livelihoods.
