Latino Republicans are speaking out after an MSNBC contributor called Hispanic GOP gains in the 2020 election a "cultural identity crisis." Paola Ramos was responding to a Pew Research study that found former President Donald Trump gathered more Hispanic votes in the 2020 election than in 2016. Rep. Carlos Gimenez, R-Fla., and "Fox & Friends Weekend" co-host Rachel Campos-Duffy called Ramos’ comments "insulting" and "slanderous." Countering Ramos’ commentary on MSNBC, Campos-Duffy said the Hispanic community is well-aligned with their values and overall identity. "The American-Hispanic community is on to it, and they're responding, and the left is mad."
