Everyone thought the Florida State Seminoles would be a part of it. A mix of politicians have been slamming the CFP for their decision including the Governor of Florida, Ron DeSantis. DeSantis wants to set aside one million dollars so FSU can sue the CFP over the decision. The anger and resentment towards the CFP comes from the fact that the FSU Seminoles overcame a lot of adversity and were able to maintain an undefeated season. The problem the CFP had with Seminoles was a lack of availability of key players.
