SINGAPORE: The hotel guest asked the housekeeping supervisor to help him with various tasks, including replenishing the toiletries, before finally offering her a bottle of wine. On Wednesday (Dec 27), Ethiopian flight technician Legesse Gezahegn Beshah, 41, was jailed for eight months after he pleaded guilty to outraging the woman's modesty. Three days later, the 25-year-old housekeeping supervisor was going about her duties when she saw Beshah standing outside his room. But before she could respond, Beshah placed his right hand across her shoulders and kissed her left cheek. For molesting the woman, Beshah could have been jailed for up to two years and fined or caned.
