Christchurch-based gynaecologist Olivia Smart was happy the products promoted the importance of female lubrication during vaginal sex, putting them in the same category as Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion’s sex-positive single WAP. That may help to encourage women experiencing vaginal discomfort to seek medical attention. But Smart’s bigger worry was that young women may use the cosmetic melts to treat a medical issue.
