People with rooms to rent can go onto the Flat Candy website and view the profiles of those who need a place to live. Flat hunters can also share their Flat Candy profile online wherever they want rather than sharing their Facebook page, which can contain more personal information. Dinneen said Flat Candy was inspired by his own frustrations of trying to find a flat in Wellington this year.
