The said amount, allocated for the building of a kindergarten block for Dabaabi M/A Primary School in Brong Ahafo, vanished into the thin air as officials were unable to account for the missing money in 2017. The tour by ACEP to Dabaabi was part of its random tracking of projects funded from Ghana’s oil revenue. Out of the total amount of GH¢245,082.35 expended on the project by the Ministry of Finance, GH¢110,546.49 is reported to be from Ghana’s oil revenue. According to him, ACEP, as part of its random tracking of projects funded with funds from Ghana’s oil revenue, realized that the Dabaabi kindergarten block was not visible on the ground.
