Flash flood emergency near and north of Leesburg discontinued


10:30 p.m. update - A FLASH FLOOD EMERGENCY (the most severe flood alert there is) is in effect for east-central Loudoun County until 2:15 am. 10 p.m. update - One warning remains in effect and it’s an important one -- a flash flood warning in northeastern Loudoun County including Leesburg. That high humidity is just getting settled, and it will help keep the clouds around and promote heavy showers and storms at times. It seems the most widespread stuff may focus south, but we will have some heavy showers and storms to deal with locally. Pollen update: Rain continues to mess with the pollen counts.
