Abdul Rahim, one of the mud flood victims from Kampung Temerlok here said it was a normal day until the heavy rains did not stop from 2pm until late evening. Whenever it rained, a flash flood will hit the house but only at the house' facade area. There are three main rivers here which are Sungai Trong, Sungai Bemban and Sungai Kroh. "The water level at these three rivers increased rapidly and at the same time, the high tide phenomenon also occurred. About 500 hectares of Trong area were submerged while the flash flood reached the roof-level," he said.
