This was, in some ways, a perfect snapshot of the week that was for the Calgary Flames. Their 6-2 victory in Vancouver should ease some of that pain, some of that panic. One victory, even as impressive and encouraging as Saturday’s was, won’t completely quash the concerns about this inconsistent bunch. Vancouver was the first stop for the Flames on a four-game West Coast swing. And so a lot of the things that happened in this hockey game, we can draw on and talk about moving forward.
