Just one week after he collapsed during practice and was transported to hospital, Calgary Flames defenceman TJ Brodie was back on the ice Thursday. The 29-year-old has had a battery of medical tests since that scary incident, and the results continue to bring good news. “TJ has been working out for the past several days and today skated on his own under the supervision of our medical staff,” said Flames general manager Brad Treliving in an update released by the team. “Over this past week, he has had consultations with appropriate specialists in Calgary. We still work to complete final testing and are optimistic he will re-join the team in the near future.”The Flames open a four-game road trip Thursday in St. Louis, but Brodie is not currently travelling with the team.
