Norden Farm is set to welcome an evening of passion, rhythm and intensity as a flamenco dancer from Seville brings her dance act to Maidenhead. Raices – Rebecca Ortega gives the audience an opportunity to be immersed in the rich culture of Andalusia, complete with traditional and modern flamenco artistry. Rebecca is joined by the ‘UK’s leading flamenco guitarist’ Ramon Ruiz and accompanied by the deep soulful voice of fellow Sevillian Carlos Lobo. Raices was a finalist piece in the Madrono Young Dance creators Contest and has been on a global tour from China and Malaysia, to Ethiopia and Gabon throughout 2023. Rebecca started her dance career at the age of 19, performing and teaching Flamenco in the UK for four years alongside her university studies.
