Foreign minister says businessmen who are eager to invest in Pakistan will accompany Malaysian PM during his visitForeign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi said on Wednesday that the utmost priority of Prime Minister Imran Khan’s government is to ‘fix the economy’. “For Pakistan, peace in Afghanistan is essential,” Qureshi underscored. Referring to the recent simmering tensions between India and Pakistan, Qureshi asserted that “a certain political party, used the situation to enhance its electoral possibilities”. The foreign minister said that the premier also wrote a letter to India’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi after coming to power urging to resolve “outstanding issues through dialogue”. The debt burden of the last two governments had increased from 6 trillion to 30 trillion, the foreign minister went on to add.
