The Bombers will play their final CFL pre-season game against the Saskatchewan Roughriders at Regina’s Mosaic Stadium, nine days ahead of their regular season opener against the B.C. With that in mind, here are five storylines to watch on Thursday night (or listen for on CJOB as the game will not be televised). It’s coming down to the wire for a starting spot on the offensive line, with nationals Geoff Gray and Cody Speller seemingly battling it out for the right guard position. Jeff Hecht and Derek Jones have been competing all camp for the starting safety spot and that should continue Thursday. After signing with the Bombers late last season, Lawler seemingly had an upper hand in camp and had a strong pre-season game last week.
