As President Trump’s 2020 reelection campaign gets underway, his team announced earlier this week that Kimberly Guilfoyle will be joining it as senior campaign adviser. Guilfoyle, a former host on Fox News, began dating Donald Jr. two months after his then-estranged wife Vanessa Trump filed for divorce. Guilfoyle was closely associated with the Trump family long before she began dating Donald Jr., and has been a vocal supporter of the family and its politics. She worked as a lawyer and a model before switching to televisionGuilfoyle received her law degree from the University of San Francisco and went on pursue a career as a prosecutor. Guilfoyle continued to regularly contribute to the show and was ultimately picked up to co-host “The Five,” an afternoon panel talk show.
