The man collapsed while walking on the sea front on Portreath beach, Cornwall, at around 11am yesterday. Emergency services were called by the local surf lifesaving patrol but the man sadly passed away at the scene. The casualty was found a quarter of a mile out to sea after getting into difficulty near the rocks near Bude, Cornwall, on Sunday. "Sadly a 54-year-old man died after getting into difficulty about a quarter of a mile out to sea. "The male has reportedly been kayaking with two friends who could not get to him when he found himself in difficulty near the rocks.
