KUALA LUMPUR: Five men, including a Thai national, who are part of a syndicate trafficking psychotropic pills (pil kuda), have been detained following raids in Kelantan and Kuala Lumpur. "We believe they are involved in trafficking pil kuda. The suspects have been detained under the Dangerous Drugs (Special Preventive Measures) Act, added Comm Mokhtar. The statement was issued in response to Thai newspaper The Nation's report on a Malaysian drug suspect's possible links to Laotian Xaysana Keopimpha. The suspect was arrested in Kelantan, weeks after Thai police nabbed Xaysana at Suvarnabhumi Airport.
