BANGKOK - A 5-metre python has swallowed and then regurgitated a whole cat weighing more than 3 kilograms in a suburb near Bangkok. The swallowed cat was one of the three pet cats belonging to a 59-year-old woman. She was about to feed all three of her cats at her home on Wednesday, but instead found one of her pets already in the stomach of the hungry python, Siroj said. It took Siroj and his two colleagues half an hour to catch the python with a rope attached to a metal rod, he said. The python has now been sent to a local zoo, he added.
