Five people have been injured following a serious two-vehicle collision in Co Westmeath on Sunday. The driver of the van, a woman aged in her 40s, was taken to Midland Regional Hospital, Mullingar, for treatment of serious injuries, which are believed to be non-life-threatening at this time. The driver of the car, a man in his late teens, was taken to Midland Regional Hospital, Tullamore. Three passengers of the car, men in their 20s, also presented at Midland Regional Hospital, Tullamore, for their injuries.
