On Friday, BUET students dragged a DU student to their Titumir Hall in the afternoon following some incidents of Thursday. The DU students then attacked and ransacked the BUET hall before snatching their peer, identified as 'Imran', away in the evening. Those injured by pelted brickbats have been identified as Abu Abdullah, Dibya Mandal, 'Sourov', 'Muhuri', and 'Sadman', all students of BUET. Meanwhile, BUET students beat up a DU student, Abbas Qureshi, who was accompanying his girlfriend, a BUET student, to her hall in the evening. An altercation took place between the DU student and the BUET students when some of them allegedly hurled invectives targeting the female student.
