Five injured after car hits bankSUPPLIED Emergency services were scrambled to the crash in Reporoa at 1.47pm. Five people were injured, one of them seriously, after a car left the road and collided with an embankment near Reporoa, south of Rotorua. Emergency services were scrambled to the scene of the crash at 1.47pm on Saturday. St John's paramedics, assisted by firefighters from Rotorua, treated the occupants of the car at the scene and transported them to Rotorua Hospital. One person suffered serious injuries in the crash.
