The accused have been identified as Rahul (22), Shadab alias Guddu (22), Deepak (22), Ubesh (23) and Murtaza (19). They said the accused would join marriage processions posing as guests and mingle with real guests to identify persons carrying cash. A man on a bus was inviting guests over telephone for his son’s wedding when someone snatched his bag containing cash and jewellery in north-east Delhi’s Bhajanpura on Monday night, he told the police. As the wedding procession reached the venue, there was a power cut and two persons snatched the bag from the victim, he told the police.
