Kharkongor on Thursday said on the second day of the filing of nominations, only five candidates submitted their papers, taking the total number to nine. Meghalaya will go to polls on February 27 and filing of nominations will end on February 7. On the first day of filing of nominations on Wednesday, four candidates submitted their papers including PWD (buildings) minister Ampareen Lyngdoh.
