Five persons were killed and 19 others injured in a car accident between a microbus, a police truck and seven private cars in Beni Suef governorate’s Nasser City on Monday. Police said that the collision happened due to the increased mist in front of the Abu Saleh tunnel. Deputy Minister of Health Abdel Nasser Hamouda said that a police officer and three conscripts were injured in the accident when they were heading to Cairo for a security mission. Meanwhile, the microbus was traveling from Minya to Cairo when it collided with the police truck and private cars, police investigations clarified. Edited translation from Al-Masry Al-Youm
