Lenval spokeswoman Stephanie Simpson said that “five children are still in critical condition and one child has stabilised”, adding the hospital had treated 30 children the night of the attack. Romanian authorities said three of their citizens are missing from Nice, and one of them may be the boy at Lenval. A woman reacts after she found out the death of her grandson as she still searches for her daughter at the Pasteur hospital in Nice. Simpson, the hospital spokeswoman, said the youngest to be treated at Lenval was six months old, with most of the children being treated for head trauma and fractures.
