Otago needs to do something different if it is going to arrest its three-game losing streak and it has started by making sweeping changes to the run-on side. It shares top spot with Wellington in the Championship standings but coach Cory Brown felt the timing was right to make five changes to the team which started the match against Counties-Manukau. He has been replaced in the starting side by Josh Dickson, while former Junior Tall Black Tom Rowe had been added to the bench but sprained his ankle during training on Tuesday. Loose forward James Lentjes was scheduled for a break but will take Rowe's spot in the reserves instead. ''Tony and Gavin have been training really well but just haven't had much of an opportunity,'' Brown said.
