Two car loads of people led police on a chase around Hamilton in stolen vehicles, and even though one of the cars crashed, the other rammed a patrol car before taking off again. A pursuit began in the Hamilton East/Claudelands area with both vehicles fleeing. All five, aged between 15 and 18, have been arrested and will face a variety of charges, including breach of bail. Three men and two women have been arrested and will face a variety of charges including breaching bail. "Police staff were also put at risk when their vehicle is rammed.
