Five arrested for illegally selling elephant tusks in Anuradhapura


The Divisional Crime Detective Bureau in Anuradhapura has arrested five suspects yesterday for the illegal selling of elephant tusks in Mankadawala, Anuradhapura, stated Police Spokesman DIG Ajith Rohana today. Further, one suspect was arrested in Karuwalagaswewa Police are for the illegal possession of 323 grams of kothala himbutu. The Spokesman said that all suspects will be produced before the respective Magistrate Courts today.
