In the lead-up to Eid-ul-Azha, markets saw a surge in fish prices across Bangladesh. In the coming weeks, fish prices spiked again as supply was cut down during the violence surrounding the quota reform movement. PRICES FALL IN FISH MARKETAfter Eid-ul-Azha, no fish except Pangas was priced below Tk 300 per kg. Due to a shortage in supply, prices took a further hit during the quota reform movement. Vendors are selling red eggs for Tk 150, white eggs for Tk 46 and duck eggs for Tk 68.
