A total of 1,84,977 candidates have been allotted seats in the first merit list out of 2,22,622 students who applied. It is expected that seats at most popular city colleges will be filled by the second merit list. Several popular Mumbai colleges have seen cut-offs above 90 percent in the first merit list. By the second list there will be clear picture.”
