First flight from China carrying personal protective equipment lands in Dublin


The first batch of personal protective equipment (PPE) from China has been delivered to Dublin. Airbus A330-302 landed at Dublin Airport from China via an Aer Lingus shortly before 3pm this afternoon. It is the first of ten flights which will arrive in Ireland with additional PPE which will help tackle the coronavirus crisis. It includes protective gloves, masks, eyewear and gowns. He said that the additional PPE supply, which is due to start arriving by the end of the week, is "probably what would normally do you for about 13 years."
