Election Commission Secretary Helal Uddin Ahmed announced the election schedule at a press briefing at the EC headquarters on Monday. “EVMs will be used in all 130 polling centers in Mymensingh city,” he said. The government updated Mymensingh to Bangladesh’s 12th city corporation on October 15 last year. Ekramul Haque, the mayor of the now defunct Mymensingh municipality, has been serving as the administrator of the newly formed city corporation since then.
