A ‘likely' case of sexual transmission of dengue between a man and a woman was the subject of a recent scientific article in South Korea, she said. Bangladesh witnessed worst dengue fever outbreak so far this year in 2019. The government records show 50,148 patients received treatment for dengue fever from 2000 to 2018. Dengue fever spread for the first time in the country in 2000. The government figure of patients suffering from dengue was 5,551 that year with 93 among them dying.
