CAIRO – 6 January 2024: Egyptian First Lady Entisar El-Sisi wished the Coptic Egyptian people Merry Christmas. Pope Tawadros II, Pope of Alexandria and Patriarch of the See of Mark led the Coptic Christmas Mass at the new capital’s Cathedral, praying to God for all those who are wounded and suffering from conflicts, wars and violence. Pope Tawadros II, presented a souvenir to President Sisi during Christmas celebrations at the Cathedral of the Nativity of Christ in the New Administrative Capital. During his brief visit to the cathedral, Sisi urged Egyptians to stand together in the face of the challenges and difficult circumstances, which is taking place amid critical global and regional developments. Pope Tawadros II is leading the mass.
