‘KarnatakaOne’ the centre where several public services are provided under one roof, started its first branch at the City Corporation premises in Jal Nagar here on Monday. The officials said that as the first step, one centre has been opened in the city. In the coming days, at least four more would be opened for the people in different parts of the city. With the opening of Karnataka One centre here, many people can reap the benefits, as this centre is open on almost all days and working hours are longer than other government offices where these services are provided. People will not have to visit different offices for different services as a majority of them will be provided at the centre, the officials said.
