With family in town this weekend, I had precious little time to squeeze in some rounds of Destiny 2’s new Gambit mode during the 24 hour pre-Forsaken trial. I like Gambit because it’s unlike anything I’ve seen before in either Destiny itself, or really, any other game. One of my favorite parts about Gambit overall right now is trying to figure out the optimal loadout for the totally new and unique mode. And the fact that I don’t think there is really an optimal loadout, as Gambit is really all about playing your own way. Wardcliff Coil can burn down a boss, clear a mob or eliminate most of an enemy team with one shot.
