First Credit Union customers report problems after IT upgradeTERESA HATTAN/STUFF First Credit Union has said in Facebook posts that its call centres are "flat out". Customers of First Credit Union are venting on Facebook, saying they have been unable to access banking services after a weekend upgrade of its IT systems. First Credit Union chief executive Terry Edwards said the credit union had changed banking systems and replaced bank cards issued to about 24,500 members with newly-issued Mastercard debit cards. Susan Taylor, chief executive of Financial Services Complaints Limited, said it had received about a dozen calls from First Credit Union customers on Monday "which we have referred back to the credit union". He agreed it was not okay that the credit union had been hard to contact by phone on Monday.
