OIL companies are set to raise the prices of gasoline and diesel by 60 centavos per liter and 10 centavos per liter, respectively, this week. Chevron Philippines, Cleanfuel, Flying V, Petro Gazz, Phoenix Petroleum, Pilipinas Shell, PTT Philippines, Seaoil, and Total announced they will adjust their pump prices today. Last week, firms increased the price of gasoline by 25 centavos per liter but decreased costs of diesel and kerosene have decreased by 20 centavos per liter and 35 centavos per liter, respectively. This brings the total year-to-date adjustments to stand at a net decrease of P4.77 per liter for gasoline, P8.79 per liter for diesel, and P13.04 per liter for kerosene, based on the Department of Energy’s weekly monitoring.
