PETALING JAYA: Muhammad Adib Mohd Kassim, the firefighter who was gravely injured in the Seafield Sri Maha Mariamman Temple fracas, has passed away. Muhammad Adib passed away at 9.41pm on Monday (Dec 17) at the National Heart Institute (IJN), according to a Fire and Rescue Department spokesman. His burial is expected to take place after Zohor prayers on Tuesday (Dec 18). Muhammad Adib was allegedly beaten up by several people on Nov 27 during the riots near the temple caused by a dispute over its proposed relocation.
