Police at a Robinsons Rd, Prebbleton, property where a four-year-old boy was fatally hit by a forklift. A four-year-old boy has died after being struck by a forklift near the small town of Prebbleton, south of Christchurch. The incident happened on a work site at Robinsons Rd, south of Prebbleton in the Selwyn district, about 1.45pm on Monday, a police spokesman said. Stuff understands the 4-year-old boy was a son of a Lincoln volunteer firefighter. Police and WorkSafe were at the site of Lincoln Grain and Produce on Robinsons Rd, a company producing stock food, on Monday afternoon.
