Three fire crews have attended a blaze at a home on Curletts Rd in Sockburn on Thursday night. Part of a busy Christchurch road is blocked and a home has been damaged after a blaze at a Christchurch home. Emergency services were called to the house fire on Curletts Rd in Sockburn just after 5pm on Thursday. Fire and Emergency New Zealand spokeswoman Lyn Crossan said fire crews from Wigram, Spreydon and Christchurch Central were sent to the scene. Christchurch Transport Operations Centre (CTOC) spokeswoman Janine Porter said fire crews had closed Curletts Rd between Blenheim Rd and Main South Rd to north bound traffic.
