One person was taken to hospital after a crash in Kelvin Grove on Tuesday night. Firefighters had to work for 30 minutes to free a person from a vehicle after a crash in Palmerston North. Police were called to a two-car crash on Hillcrest Drive in Kelvin Grove about 6.20pm on Tuesday and one person had moderate injuries, a police spokeswoman said. Fire and Emergency workers spent about 30 minutes working to free a person trapped in a car. Meanwhile, one person received minor injuries in a two-car crash on Malden St in Roslyn about 5.30pm, a Fire and Emergency spokesman said.
