A fire on Monday morning broke out at the JKUAT main campus in Juja, Kiambu county, and badly damaged the students' dining hall. The inferno broke out at around 4 am. The fire razed several retail shops within the Hall 6 Cafeteria. Efforts to get a comment from the school's administration were not successful as they declined to speak to the press. While confirming the incident, Juja OCPD Samuel Thirikwa said no casualty was reported in the morning inferno.
