MANILA, Philippines – Fire broke out Monday evening at a residential area in Barangay Batasan Hills in Quezon City. According to a report from the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP), the fire razed an informal settlers area along Senatorial Road. ADVERTISEMENTThe fire spread rapidly as the houses were made of light materials. The first alarm was sounded at 7 p.m. shortly after the fire started. It was immediately raised to the fourth alarm at 7:27 p.m.
