The people from neighbourhood gathered at the spot and tried to put out the fire, but failed to bring the flame under control. Later, they reported the fire service about the fire incident. Firefighters managed to put out the flames, but in the meantime, feeds and cotton stored in the warehouse were burnt to ashes, according to Md Al Amim, an official of the Fire Service. No casualties were reported, however.
