Fire guts truck cabin in AucklandJARRED WILLIAMSON/FAIRFAX NZ A truck driver escaped unharmed after a suspected electrical fault sparked a fire in the cabin. An electrical fault may have caused a fire that gutted a large truck's cabin on a south-east Auckland street. The 18-wheel truck and trailer had to be towed from the intersection of Ormiston and Chapel Roads after the incident. "The driver was coming through the intersection and the truck cut out. Papatoetoe senior fire station officer Chris Delfos said the fire was caused by an electric or cable fault.
