Two tankers were called in from Temuka and Pleasant Point to the fire that started as a controlled burn off, Fenz spokesperson Andrew Norris said. The report came in at 3.50pm on Friday afternoon, he said. The fire, which covered 300 metres of stock bank was extinguished by 5pm, Norris said.
